We’ll meet at the Beverly Canyon Trailhead parking lot for 1-hour of total body conditioning at South Mountain. While the morning sun is still gaining its strength we’ll begin with an energizing warm up to prepare our ligaments, joints, and muscles for the work they will do. Next we’ll take in views of Phoenix and Tempe while we complete a strength training routine to work our upper body and core. Then we’ll challenge our lower body and cardiovascular system with a hill climbing hike among the inspiring beauty of the Sonoran Desert. Finally we’ll focus on balance and flexibility as we cool down. Book this session to burn tons of calories, build strength in a beautiful setting, and finish feeling accomplished.
I am a trail-conquering, Certified Personal Trainer and U.S. Navy veteran who loves to sweat in the sun. While I’ve been an expert at outdoor play since elementary school, I’ve been a fitness professional since 2009. In that time I’ve organized a community group for beginner outdoor exercisers, designed individual fitness programs, and managed a training program for 24 fitness facilities.
