Join us as we examine the melting pot of Afro-Cuban spirituality. We will travel to the township of Guanabacoa, the cradle of Afro-Cuban culture. Once there, we'll visit a local museum to learn about the history of Afro-Cuban religions. Then we will walk the streets of Guanabacoa to see Cuban life firsthand. We’ll meet Damian, a Babalawo—meaning “father of mysteries” or priest—of Santería. He will cleanse us at his alter, and explain how he sees into the future of others and gives advice based on his discoveries. We’ll end the day sharing a cup of Aguardiente—the beverage used in all Afro-Cuban religious practices.

After meeting at Café Bone´Ma in Vedado, we’ll travel to the town of Guanabacoa, considered the center of Santería. There we will start at a local museum dedicated to the study of Afro-Cuban religions before visiting the altar of a Babalawo, highest priest in Santería.
Once we finish with the experience, if you wish you can stay for a reading with the babalawo and have the perfect opportunity to take a closer look in to your future. It has an additional cost.
