Chicago coffee scene has been booming at the speed of light over the past few years, discovering and introducing coffee culture and the industry's newest trends to Windy City community. This experience was inspired by the growing interest of locals in the latest coffee making techniques in combination with its everlasting love for art. Art Institute of Chicago, Millennium Park, and weekly art festivals has inspired us to put together this unique opportunity to learn about coffee and create art with it. Guests will receive coffee paint and the supplies needed to create a robust work of art. Take a sip of inspiration, gain a pinch of education, taste some coffee, have fun with friends, and leave with energy for the whole day! Coffee tastings of a few different kinds, and pour over workshop are included and this event is also BYOB.
I've always been passionate about hospitality and art. 5 years ago I opened a cafe in the most artistic neighborhood of Chicago-Wicker Park. Over the years working as a barista and General Manager of the coffee shop I naturally grew my knowledge about coffee and the industry and noticed a high interest in a local community to learn more about coffee and its culture. Three years ago I got inspired to combine things I love the most-art, coffee, and hospitality, and designed this unique experience.
Art supplies, coffee based paint, aprons will be provided
This experience is hosted at a loft style, collaborative Art Studio/ Art Gallery & Event Space. 3rd Floor
