活動內容
Gather some friends for a fun night of gift making to get a head start on your holiday shopping! During this class you will make 3 gift sets of natural beauty products, which are great for those hard to shop for friends and family (or for anyone really!) Each set will contain a sugar scrub, lip balm and a clay facial mask plus you will take home gift bags and tissue paper too!
The class will begin with an introduction to essential oils and how to use them and will also include expert advice and tips about how to blend smells to create something you love for your products. You will get to select your own scents for each item from our collection of over 30 pure essential oils, including some special holiday house blends!
We will use all natural (and 100% vegan) ingredients in the products and you will learn the properties of each ingredient as we go.
And since I’m sure you will be tempted to keep one of the “gifts” for yourself, you will also take home something special just for you!

When I got pregnant with my first child I began to evaluate everything I put on or in my body in a new light. I became an expert in reading labels on my body care products to determine if they would be safe for my baby. What I found most of the time was that the products I had been using contained harmful ingredients for not only my baby but myself too! So after years of making my own beauty and skin care products as a hobby and necessity for my own family, I have decided to share my passion for safe and effective products with others! Through my business, gingerSCENTS and myrrh, I aim to educate and empower people to make healthy choices in skin care ingredients and also offer a fun experience through my DIY classes.

The class will be conducted in my home workshop in south Philadelphia. While you are in the area, you can walk down 2nd Street, home the Mummers, Mummers Museum, and a beloved Philadelphia New Years tradition. I can also recommend the best Philly cheese steak, a mom and pop shop you have probably never heard of, or the best vegan cheese steak, both just blocks away!
