Come experience the wonderful world of the honeybee where we encourage you to take pictures. We begin our 1 1/2 hour experience near Tampa, Florida. I have several different locations to choose from ranging from Farm to urban areas. The address showing will not necessarily be the place that you will have your experience. I can be flexible as to location. We will begin with a demonstration of the equipment utilized in beekeeping as well as dressing up in our full bee suits and then immediately start the hands-on experience. At this point you will be able to see, feel, hear and touch apis mellifera (the European honey bee!) as I guide you to a better understanding of these amazing creatures. During our time together you will manipulate equipment, ask questions and get a practical appreciation of the bees. After, you will enjoy a refreshment while we discuss your recent experiences. Upon completion, we provide a 5 oz honey jar and honey dipper to say thank you and as a memento of being a beekeper for a day! Things to note: There is always a chance of getting stung, So if you are allergic to bees please come with your epi-pen or choose a different experience. We want you to come away from this feeling alive and in tune with the natural world. The climate here can be hot and humid or cold and damp, please dress accordingly. You will be wearing a full bee suit.

Our kayaking eco tour explores both the wonderful waters & beautiful beaches of Shell Key Preserve. This is an entirely outdoors experience! We do have to adjust daily tour times to work with the tides+weather so PLEASE LET US KNOW if you are only available for the 1 time slot you select. We'll meet everyone at the launch, do intros, give waterproof bags,& get prepped for kayaking. No experience needed; we'll give everyone a paddling overview! We use primarily double kayaks for ease+comfort. (Your booking time is the planned arrival time. Average water depth 2ft) After that we'll get launched into Shell Key Preserve, a beautiful shallow environment with tons of wildlife & a very interesting ecosystem which we'll discuss+the history of the Preserve! From the shallow seagrass flats to the large mangrove islands to the pristine beaches of Shell Key itself we'll try to cover it all! Including traveling through some mangrove tunnels (tides permitting, mainly Mar-Oct) We'll also look for+talk about some of our incredible wildlife in the Preserve including dolphins, manatees, & other fish/birds! This thoughtfully designed ride through Tampa is truly a great introduction to our wonderful city. Our casual, 3 hour ride includes downtown landmarks, historical locations and ventures through various neighborhoods. With plenty of informative stops built in, this ride is designed to be easy for casual riders and includes a stopover in Hyde Park Village with enough time for a little exploration or a coffee (or beer!) and snack if you're so inclined. Feel free to pick the brain of your knowledgeable, local guide for recommendations for restaurants, bars, breweries, or other entertainment options. (Todd LOVES chatting with visitors!) Come discover Tampa with us as we explore! We can see so much on a bike! The day begins with launching kayaks and instruction on basic kayaking. After an hour and a half of paddling, while viewing native wildlife and discussions on the environment, we stop for gourmet lunch, created by your guide and chef. After lunch we embark on another hour of eco touring. The trip is 3 hours. Other things to note beginner kayakers are welcome, , what's great about small tours is the personal attention and hands on learning!!! Gratuity is not included but very much appreciated!

Take a clear kayaking adventure through Shell Key Preserve, a tropical paradise with unique marine habitats. Your knowledgeable ecotour guide will welcome you and provide brief paddling and safety instructions. Then, you’ll be loaded into your tandem clear kayak and off on a 2-hour adventure! Your tour guide leads the way around the mangrove islands, through the shallows, and to the beach. If the tide is high, your guide will show you a hidden mangrove tunnel. You’ll also take a break at Shell Key Beach, where you can collect shells, take in the views, and be surrounded by nature. Your guide will be happy to take plenty of photos, provide awesome unique facts, and make sure you have fun along the way! While in the preserve, be on the lookout for a Manatee or the beautiful pink Roseate Spoonbills in the summer months. White Pelicans call the sandbars of Shell Key Preserve their home during the winter months! Dolphins frolic in crystal-clear waters throughout the year, and cormorants love to swim alongside your kayak. Don’t forget to look through your clear kayak for a unique view of the ecosystems that are underwater! Chances are that you’ll see a variety of wildlife, but sightings are random and not guaranteed.

You will meet your guides at Ted Sperling Park, the launch site for the famous Lido Mangrove Tunnels. After a short explanation of the equipment and the paddle, we will launch and practice our skills in a beautiful, shallow bay. Depending on weather conditions, we may paddle to the channel with a goal of paddling with manatees and dolphins. If we do come across them, we will keep our distance and watch them play and frolic. Occasionally, manatees will be curious and will swim up to us. It is such a special experience. Next up, we will head to the mangrove tunnels. We may take a short break at a private beach to stretch our legs before we head into the maze of mangrove tunnels. Your guides will help you navigate the tunnels, pointing out exotic wildlife as you pass. Everyone loves when finding giant hermit crabs and seastars along the way. After paddling though the tunnels and to the hidden lagoon, we will head back to the launch. Your hosts will text photos of your adventure for you to share with friends and family. Capt Yak is a Veteran owned business. We will explore through and around Mangrove Islands, Beds of Sea Grasses and Sand Bars on Comfortable and Easy Paddling Kayaks. Our Sit-On-Top Kayaks are outfitted with adjustable seats with back support that add comfort and paddling ease to your trip. The seat position also allows you to see the abundant sea life below much better than the old style Sit-In Kayaks. Birds, stingrays, horseshoe crabs, shells, manatees and dolphins are some of the wildlife you may see. Greg, "Capt Yak", will immerse you in this vital eco-system and provide you with information on the abundant wildlife and plant life you will encounter on this 3 hour tour. Your route will be based on the tide and wind to make the paddle as easy and enjoyable as possible. Mid way through the tour we will stop at Shell Key where you can Search for shells, take a stroll, swim or just sit an relax. Shell Key is the largest undeveloped barrier Island in the county and vital to the preserve's ecosystem. With nearly thirty years experience conducting field research and working in the zoo field, Greg has acquired a vast amount of knowledge that crosses over to his passion of kayaking.

Have you ever wondered what nocturnal wildlife swims, glides or flies across the water at night? Take a paddle on our wild side-sunset + glow you never know who we might encounter during our guided 100% CLEAR KAYAK eco tour! Half the fun is after dark in our 100% CLEAR KAYAKS! Once the sunsets we get our glow on by using LED lights in the bottom of the kayaks to light up the water beneath our 100% clear kayak! We will be sure to take plenty of pictures on the water for you because we know the best angle to grab that Gram worthy shot + while we share some awesome information about the eco systems! Once you're all checked in, we'll share basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead, wildlife safety + kayaking with manatees rules. We'll get you comfortable in your clear kayak and off we go! The ecotour will last about 2 hours depending on the pace of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way! We will spend about 15 minutes signing waivers, and taking a short paddling lesson with our experienced guides prior to our departure time. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early. Note that weekends can be a popular time for recreation. All of our kayaks are tandem kayaks unless otherwise arranged. We do remain in our kayaks for the duration of the experience, as this is a no-exit tour. We practice passive observation.

We'll meet at the designated cafe right by the beach where there is plenty of public parking, then walk a few steps over to the beach and watch the sunset while I snap golden hour photos of you and your crew! You'll take in the gorgeous views and splash in the ocean as I take your pictures walking alongside the beach. Primarily a couples experience (you will add the quantity of *2* people when booking) unless you would prefer to have a family session in which I can accommodate you for! Come snuggle with baby goats and more. We will meet at the picnic tables at Sweet Berry Barn where we will discuss safely handling animals. Then we will bring out baby goats, bunnies, horses and a Kunekune pig. They are cuddle bugs ready to play. You may hold them, feed and take lots of pictures.

In this hands-on class, you’ll head to a cheerful local brewery to learn an expert’s tips and techniques for making perfect handmade pasta every time. Bring your friends, make it a family affair, or take your dinner date to the next level. When class begins, you’ll jump right into things as you roll up your sleeves to form, knead, and shape perfect fresh pasta noodles using traditional ingredients. Have some fun playing around with the dough, creating classic and unique pasta shapes. As you let your pasta dry, you’ll discover a foolproof recipe for classic marinara sauce. Chef Princess will teach everyone valuable kitchen skills as she demonstrates how to combine authentic Italian ingredients to make a hearty, robust sauce to smother your pasta in. Grab some cold craft beers from the bar to enjoy throughout class and make some memories that will last forever. After tasting from-scratch pasta, you’ll never want to make the stuff out of a box ever again!

Our unique venue will transport you to an imaginary world where our sweet rescued senior cats "rule." First, visit our "Longhorn Saloon" in our western town, where we will "whip up" your favorite coffee or soft drink. Next, head over to Pokey's Patio, where you can enjoy your drink while visiting with our cats. Be sure to visit our various attractions, such as Lake Park, Furball Castle, Shanty Town, the Tiki Bar, Moon Lander Village, or Pokey's Patio. Make your own custom coffee mug (with your picture) when visiting our Rescue Angels Gift Store. (this is included in your entrance fee) At your option, Guests can have a "live stream" made of their experience (which they can view later on social media.) Notes: 1) Your entrance fee will be treated as a donation to our non-profit to help maintain our facility and save more homeless senior cats. 2) Since the guests will interact with live animals, they must sign a disclaimer. (no children under 12, please) 3) Keep in mind this facility is solely maintained by the 77 -year-old Owners, Bruce, and Terry Jenkins. (we have no volunteers)

I will give a short overview of the farm and we will get to know each other the first 10 minutes. Our walking tour starts with the ducks (they are up front) and continue through emus, chickens, geese and more ducks. It is a working farm so the farm will be in action around you from feeding to cleaning duties. We will continue to the barn area where we will first visit with our dry stock (non-milking) and bucks. Here is where the guests will be allowed to pet the animals and feed animal cookies we supply. I will explain the different breeds of goats, what they eat, how their digestion work and show the difference between our dry goats and our milking line. From time to time there are babies of all species from goats, to ducks, to chicks, to bunnies. We cannot plan what we will have at any one time but most always something with feathers in a brooder. We are also a cat foster so most of the time there are kittens to see. If we have baby goats at the time, the guests will have the opportunity to pet, snuggle and love on the goats. They will view the milking parlor The tour will conclude with a sampling of dairy products made here on the farm. Approx 2 hour tour depending on interest with the last 20-30 minutes spent sampling our various goat cheeses and products. We usually run over 1/2 hour. Wear comfortable shoes/clothes, bug spray or suncreen, if sensitive

I am offering a unique dining experience unlike any other you’ve ever had! The experience includes a basic introduction to preparing handmade pasta and a two course meal. The first course is typically a cold appetizer and the main course consists of pasta, protein, and vegetables. The menu can be customized to suit most allergies and dietary restrictions. I can accommodate vegan, vegetarian, and other specialty diets (there is typically an up charge for doing so) but please contact me before booking. I work with guests to develop a menu that is suitable for their group. However, there are limitations if I have to choose food that will hold up in a hot box without compromising its quality or becoming unpalatable. The experience takes place in your home or location of your choosing; if you are outside Tampa city limits please contact me before booking. Please bring Tupperware if you'd like to take any food you do not finish. Guests are also welcome to bring wine or beer to enjoy during the experience.

Let's go on a clear kayak ecotour adventure on the Weeki Wachee River- one of the most scenic waterways in Florida! We start in the quiet estuary of the Mud and Weeki Wachee Rivers, or where they meet the Gulf of Mexico.The first half of the paddle will take us through a salt marsh before we start kayaking up the Weeki Wachee River (a workout, but don't worry we take breaks) and the second half will be an easier trip back to our launch at Mary's Fish Camp. Be ready for lots of great local nature and wildlife such as manatees, dolphins, birds, turtles and fish while kayaking past iconic places on the river such as Rogers Park, a public swim area, and Hospital Hole- the river has so many places! Expect an adventure that is part wild and part urban as the river is a popular one to enjoy living and recreating on. We spend the first 20 minutes taking care of the basics, signing waivers, kayaking lesson and information about the tour ahead. We spend 2 hours on the water depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way! This is a no exit tour to preserve the Weeki Wachee for generations to come. We spend the duration of our tour in our kayaks. Please note that weekends and holidays can be a popular time for recreation on the river!
