Guest Cottage in historic Washington on the Brazos

Sonntag Haus is a beautiful cottage in the heart of historic Washington-on-the-Brazos, Texas. You will relax in the calm embrace of this lovely area. Stunning views of water, long views across the valleys to the hills beyond. Sunrise and sunsets to remember, views of the night sky that you forgot existed. It is an approximately 500 SF guest house set between our home and one of the lakes. Walk, sit, run, bike, fish or just relax. We built this as a retreat for our family and friends with love.

Country Hide Away sleeps 5

Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and relax on the old family farm. The little pampered mobile home is not fancy but it's oh so peaceful and relaxing to sit by the pond or just relax on the big deck and view the hundred year old farmstead. Drive past the hosts house about 1500' down a maintained gravel road and you're there! You'll have your own campfire site complete with firewood and stumps to sit on or enjoy the covered pier over the pond...it has a fan to keep it breezy!

Our 3-room private suite and pool in Anderson, TX is the perfect place for a quick country getaway. Our place features wide open views away from the city crush. The living room, dining room, and kitchenette are included in one open area. The bedroom is separate and includes a queen-size bed. There is a hallway leading from the living area to the full bath which includes a small closet for clothing. Here you will also find extra blankets, pillows, and linens for the queen air mattress.

Garden Suite

The Garden Suite is centrally located in the BCS metroplex close to Texas A&M Campus and near lots of restaurants / bars / grocery stores / highway 6. The suite is part of the detached garage that has a private entrance through the backyard. Guests are asked to park on the street. We are pet friendly but charge an additonal $10 per pet per day if guests bring a pet. Only fifteen to twenty minutes from Kyle Field, and seven miles from Messina Hof Winery, you have best of both worlds. A private entrance with a carport will give you freedom to come and go.
