This cozy and well-appointed cabin is perfect for bird watchers, writers, or those looking to experience the serenity of the woods. The first floor has a large living/dining area with a queen sized sofa bed, dining table, modern, fully furnished kitchen and full bathroom. The downstairs contains a dreamy bedroom with queen sized bed and full bathroom. The cabin is 8 miles north of downtown St. Francisville and mere minutes from hiking, shopping, area festivals, and dining establishments. Amenities include the provision of all linens and towels, a washer/dryer and internet service. Important to note: There are no TVs at this property.

Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.

The River Retreat

This cozy cottage is nestled along the bank of the Atchafalaya River, a few miles south of interstate 10 and half way between Baton Rouge and Lafayette, La. Drive through your own little private swamp as you enter the property before it opens up to the cottage. The front porch is only steps away from the river.
