Crater Lake House is a large house with an open living and dining space at the centre of which is a cozy fireplace. Enjoy spectacular views of Kyaninga Crater Lake and the Mountains of the Moon. This serene getaway is a 20 minute drive from Fort Portal. The lake is clean and safe to swim in, and you can enjoy beautiful walks along the 4 km rim, and/or explore the Crater. A fun get away for families. Breakfast available $10 pp. Grocery shopping $5. Takeaway services are also available.

Rental is for the full property. There are two ensuite bedrooms, both queen doubles plus extra double sofa-beds, private toilet/shower and your own keys. Watch crested cranes sail by, turacos, busy weavers etc. Walk or bike into Fort Portal, or round the amazing forested lake (which you can swim in), visit next door lodges, tour our forest of indigenous trees, hike the hills. Extra guests?...ask for the large tent. If you have pre-teen children, ask us for deal on the price per person.
