Beautiful Breeze Cottage sits among the stunning hills of the Dargle Valley. It overlooks 3 tranquil dams, rolling pastures and an indigenous forest. There are cattle and horses in the fields, abundant bird life to enjoy and peacefulness to breath in. It's the perfect place to recharge while escaping the pressures of city life and with the Midlands Meander on our doorstep you can be as busy or as quiet as you choose. The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

Enjoy the serenity of nature on the edge of the Umgeni Valley. Conveniently placed less than 10 minutes away from Hilton Village. This is no normal cottage. Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

In the HEART of the KWAZULU NATAL MIDLANDS MEANDER. - A “Far Away Place” is a gay-owned two bedroom cottage with views to a beautiful dam, trout fishing, a huge Pine forest & the mountains of the Karkloof. We are 5km on the old Curry's Post Road from Terbodore Coffee & a short 12km drive into Nottingham Road. We are social people, who love our dogs, all 6 of them. (Smooches, Chino, Toffee, Peanut & Jelly Bean & Lady) If dogs are not for you, then our cottage is not recommended.

The Aloe house is a completely solar powered house which will not be affected by the load shedding whatsoever. You have a spectacular view of the Malungane mountain from every room of the house with its ceiling to floor glass sliding doors. their is a large fire place in the main living room to make fires during those crisp winter nights. in winter the cows calve right outside the house which can be a great insight into the farm life. sunsets over the entire Drakensberg range.

THE HAYLOFT - A Spacious, Stylish, Unique Cottage

The Hayloft is a self catering cottage set in the spectacular village of central Hilton. It is located close to upmarket schools, restaurants,shopping centres, hospitals, many major sporting events and The Midlands Meander. Just 10 minutes drive to Pietermaritzburg and an hour and a half to King Shaka Airport. We also have the Crofters Loft, The Shepherds Loft and The Farriers. We are on a solar system so load shedding does not affect us.

We like to think that we have the best of both worlds here at Yellowoods! The benefits of farm life, yet easy access to cafes, restaurants, bicycles trails, farmers markets, golf courses and schools. Only 2kms off the N3, we are easily accessible and very easy to find. We are a working farm, so there will be ‘farm noise’ about and general day-to-day goings on! Cottage has braai facilities, WiFi and DSTV.

The cottage is situated in The Dargle Valley bordering a forestry estate and overlooks the uMngeni River. It is nestled in the trees next to the main house on Woodsong Farm, which is a small life-style farm where you are free to explore the surroundings. Enjoy walks to the small dam with a picnic basket and bird-watch, take photos, enjoy some casual fishing and wild-swimming.

This beautiful cottage is secluded and cozy, with expansive views and outlook. Light, spacious and airy, it is comfortably furnished with everything you'd need for a weekend away in the beautiful Kzn midlands. Mission House is in the heart of the Midlands Meander craft route, and only a short distance from the N3.
