This traditional stone croft house was fully renovated & extended in 2015. It now has a light, modern interior, holding on to some traditional features. 3 bedrooms are light and in neutral colours. The open plan living kitchen area boasts a vaulted ceiling and country cottage style kitchen, with walk in larder cupboard. Relax in the evening in front of a roaring fire, or explore the beach which is just a 2 minute walk away! A great location to explore Yell, Unst, Fetlar & the north of Shetland.

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 120 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

The white, wooden two bedroom bungalow is situated in Ulsta where the inter- island ferry arrives in Yell and departs for Toft on the Mainland. There are stunning views over Yell Sound and beautiful sunsets can be seen from the lounge and kitchen windows. The front bedroom has one double bed and one single. My house is on a working croft or small farm. We have sheep, hens, and you may meet one of our working dogs. The area is very quiet. A safe place to relax and enjoy the local wildlife. Great walking country and stunning local scenery. Dogs are welcome by arrangement -there is a secure garden. Please note that this is a working croft, so please keep dogs under control.
