Located in a quiet court 5 minutes drive to the beach and shops. This self contained unit is on the ground floor of the main house and has an entirely separate entrance.

There is a kitchen, dining and living area, separate bathroom and separate bedrooms - the main bedroom has a queen size bed and there is another small room off the main bedroom containing a single bed - or on arrangement a baby's porta cot. The kitchen is equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. There are some hotplates and a microwave but no oven. Outside there is a table and chairs under the verandah with backyard space.
If you are over 6'2" (189cm tall), this flat may not be for you as there are beams in the lounge and main bedroom areas measuring to this height.
We live in the house above the granny flat. This means that you may sometimes hear footsteps above.

The flat is very close to the town. You can enjoy a walk to the town centre or a stroll around Blue Waters Lake which is just one block away. The beach and river are also within a pleasant walk away altho if you intend to spend the day at the beach, it would be better to take the car.

Although close to the town centre, the flat is in a quiet court and there is plenty of greenery looking out from the front door. Ocean Grove is a busy seaside township with surfers and wine lovers enjoying what the region has to offer all year round. There are many cafes, restaurants, parks and cycling tracks to be enjoyed.

I am a retired secondary teacher. John and I live in a small coastal town and thoroughly enjoy our lifestyle beside the ocean. We have enjoyed using Airbnb as guests, so now have decided to become Airbnb hosts. Now that we are retired we are free to travel and usually enjoy an overseas trip each year. Our family often camps on holidays as we like to get as close to nature as possible.
