Glamping retreat offering yoga & spa. Valldal is off the beaten track but close to Trollstigen road, Tafjord and Geiranger. Canvas tent furnished as a hotel room with comfortable beds. You fall asleep to the sound of the river passing by and wake up to the birds singing in the morning. High standard at common area, showers, sauna, bathtub. Well equipped kitchen. Gardens and astonishing nature surrounds the camp. This is a perfect place for relaxation. Morning yoga 3 days a week. 5 tents.

- Calm place with a Japanese inspired garden.
Stylish furnished tipi room in lovely surroundings. Wooden floor, luxury beds with feather duvet, Norwegian wool blanket, towels, and 2 relaxing chairs, battery torch. The tent has very good breathing trait and also windows possible to open at warm nights.
Access dining room and well equipped kitchen. You can enter a Japanese garden with a dam and koi fish. Outside sitting groups and relaxation chairs for sunny days. Grill. On request we can offer continental breakfast (nok120,-).
The retreat is situated right by the river Valldøla. It is a quiet spot surrounded by beautiful nature. Also possible to start short hikes directly from the camp.

Further up the road you find an exciting family park for climbing and activities with more than 1400 meters of tree-and-post climbing courses.
Experience Norddalsfjord or Tafjord UNESCO fjord, quiet, peaceful and outstanding landscape.
Only 3,5 km to the center of Valldal where you find grocery stores, restaurants, coffees, beach and kayak rental. If you like climbing, canyoning, rafting or guided hikes etc. that is also possible.
Valldal is knowen for its great mountains, vast valleys, deep fjords, and historical Norwegian farmland. Its a fruity area and in Summer time you can taste the sweetest strawberries and cherries. Go foraging in the wild forest picking blueberries or visit one of the farmers to buy ready picked berries and fruits.
For rainy days we suggest bowling and local pizza at Kulå Bowling. And if you like an drink or à la carte meal we can recommend 3-4 posibilities.
Just 2 km to the nearest restaurant which is world famous for its strawberry cream cake!

Er glad i naturen, skape vakre hagerom og vere i kreative prosessar. Er i fritida glad i å vere ved sjø og på fjell, yoga, kulturopplevelsar og reise. Mitt livsmotto er "Elsk, lev, le" - prøver oversjå bagatellar og framelske det som er godt i livet. Sjeldan kun på badeferie, likar besøke vakre byar og land . Er oppteken av vegetarmat, dyrkar økologisk og vil gjerne bidra til å ta vare på jorda og helsa vår. Når du rekreerer i Meretes Garden vil du sikkert finne meg i hagen, luke eit blomsterbed eller mate fisken i dammen. Så du vil kunne møte både kattar og fisk her på garden. Merete will welcome you at arrival and show you the tent and the facilities. You will also meet the host in the morning teaching yoga or lighting the sauna for you in the evening. We also help you finding suitable hikes or what to do in the area.
