Apartment is attached to the main farmhouse on a historic 38-acre hillside farm. Extensive gardens & orchard, heritage breed cows, chickens and sheep.

Very comfortable two bedroom apartment with private entrance; well-equipped open-plan kitchen and living room, radiant-heat-floored bathroom and a sleeping loft. Hot tub (shared with other Apt) with fabulous views. If you need more space, we have an adjacent ABnB apartment that sleeps up to six people. Please note that pricing is based on up to four guests; additional $25/person/night up to max 5 guests added automatically when booking. I'm a glassblower and my studio is about 8 miles away and we can arrange for glassblowing lessons; if you're interested, you can book them through AirBnB experiences #361573. We are up a dirt road 1.5 miles from the main road. If it is/has been snowing and there's more than a few inches of snow on the road, please be aware that good tires or all-wheel drive is recommended.
I'm a glassblower and my studio is about 8 miles away and we can arrange for glassblowing lessons; if you're interested, you can book them through AirBnB experiences at experiences/361573. I normally blow glass on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Our gallery there is open Monday - Saturday, 10-5 (mostly).
Our property is two miles away from the West Townshend Country Store where you can get a quick meal, coffee, or just some eggs and milk. They also have a great pizza night (cooked outdoors in a wood-fired cob oven) with live music on Friday evenings! There is a larger grocery store about 8 miles away where you can get anything you need, including gas. We are 30-40 minutes from Manchester, Brattleboro, or Chester where you can find many nice restaurants, cute shops, and necessities of any kind. Jamaica, Londonderry and Newfane are all quaint Vermont towns with places to eat and shop within 20 minutes of our home.
For people who have come to Vermont from another state, overnight stays in lodging, camping and short-term rental properties are allowed as described below.
When you arrive at the lodging site, you and anyone traveling with you must self-certify (link is external) that you meet one of these conditions:
Have traveled from a region with a low rate of active cases (link is external) OR
Have completed a 14-day quarantine in your home state and traveled directly to Vermont in a personal vehicle without making any stops OR
Have had a negative test result in your home state on or after 7 days of quarantine OR
Are authorized to work in Vermont
And you must also meet both of these conditions:
Not had close contact with someone with COVID-19 in the past 14 days AND
Not had COVID-19-like symptoms in the past 24 hours.
Travelers also have the option to quarantine in a Vermont lodging site. Travelers may complete either a 14-day quarantine OR a 7-day quarantine followed by a negative test in Vermont. This applies regardless of where someone began their trip, or what type of transportation they used. Travelers must stay in their quarantine location for the duration of quarantine, other than to travel to and from a test site.

We have x- country skiing out the back door along with great hikes, swimming pond and water fall. Best views in Southern Vermont! Stratton, Mt. Snow and Magic Mountain are all within a 20 minute drive; Bromley and Okemo a bit further. Outlet shopping in Manchester VT half-hour drive.

I am an artist/glassblower/farmer. My glass blowing studio and gallery is 5 miles away which you're welcome to visit and maybe take a class! Our organic farm gives us lots of fresh food, meat, eggs, chicken, maple syrup and lot of berries! I have a wife Kathy, son Luc and golden retriever Apple!

We are around to help you get the most out of your stay. We know great local places, hikes, waterfalls, that we hope you will enjoy visiting in the area! If you visit in late Feb - early April we will be making maple syrup most weekends. You can taste the sap fresh from the tree and the syrup fresh from the evaporator!
