Enjoy privacy in this beautifully handcrafted cottage with arched ceilings. The cottage is 2 miles from downtown Goshen - a vibrant small town with restaurants and shops. It's 1 mile from Goshen College, 45 minutes from Notre Dame and 25 minutes from the Amish town of Shipshewana. The cottage is beside a fruit, nut and berry orchard and gardens. It's adjacent to a city bike trail that links to the Pumpkinvine nature/bike trail. It's close to a train crossing (with whistle) and a busy street.

The owners converted a 1950s quonset garage into this attractive self-contained home. The main floor has a spacious living area with a full kitchen. The bedroom and bathroom are on the main floor. The cottage has a loft that is accessible via a staircase. The loft has a quaint sitting area and a desk. This space serves as the second bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. There is a room divider screen for added privacy.
The cottage living space has 16-foot, arched ceiling with abundant north facing windows. The building is very energy efficient with thick insulation and quality heating and cooling.
The great room incorporates the full kitchen, with the dining and living areas. There is comfortable seating and a TV with an antenna and Roku access. Guests can log into their streaming accounts, such as Netflix, Hulu and Prime. There is high-speed wireless Internet access throughout the cottage.

We have always been committed to thorough cleaning, which is even more critical in this time of Covid-19. All surfaces are carefully cleaned and disinfected, all linens are washed in hot water, and the entire cottage is vacuumed after each guest. We will be following any new cleaning guidelines issued from AirBnB once they are made available.
