The property is situated equi-distance from 3 villages - each approximately 3 miles away. The villages are Newmarket-on-Fergus, Quinn and Kilkishen. All have traditional pubs and there is choice of restaurants in Newmarket and Quinn.
Ennis town is a 20 minute drive. Limerick city a 30 minute drive (where there is a fantastic open-air market Saturday mornings). The bustling, music-filled town of Galway is a 1 hour drive.
In the immediate area there's plenty to do - fishing, golfing, horse riding, country walks, and plenty to see in the form of old castles, abbeys and folk parks.
A 45-60 minute drive away you have the surf beaches of Lahinch and Fanore, the Cliffs of Moher and the Wild Atlantic Way, and unique landscape of The Burren.
