A cozy, comfy studio apartment with all the amenities to make it like a home away from home. Suitable for a single, a couple, or a family unit with up to 2 children and 1 infant. Easy walking distance to the beach, cafes etc. Porta cot available for infants. Not suited to loud entertaining or parties. Pet friendly accommodation. Please read all info and acknowledge you are ok with the house rules before booking.

The self contained room is in a quiet suburban neighborhood within easy walking distance to town, nature reserves and beach.
It is intended as a quiet getaway or medium term accommodation for those seeking a temporary base on the Bellarine Peninsula.
We have extra stringent cleaning practices between stays to keep our guests and ourselves safe. We take time to wipe over all surfaces, paying particular attention to door handles, light switches, remote controls etc.
Access is via stairs and the room has a small balcony which is not child safe.
The listing is above our family home. For this reason this accommodation is not suited to groups of adults unless you are happy to keep noise levels quiet after 10pm and have communicated this understanding with us prior to confirmation of booking.
For those with dogs, there is an additional request for $50 sent once the booking is made to make sure our superhost cleaning standards are upheld for all who stay here.
Guests will be liable for any damage to property during their stay.

The guests have access to a shared laundry facility and of course to the private setting of a self contained apartment. The yard near the accommodation can be secured with a gate to give dogs some leash free time.
Off street parking is available for 1 guest vehicle. Please check with us first if you want to park a trailer with boat or camper off street first. We may or may not be able to provide parking for an extra off street parking request. We will do our best to assist you.

Pets are welcome but are not permitted at any time on furniture. We provide a medium size raised dog bed with mats. Guests can either bring their own dog blanket/bed or use ours.
We've learnt from experience that pets create extra work and in light of this we charge a very nominal fee of $50 in addition to regular booking fees per stay.
This will be collected via special request upon booking.
Pets are not to be left alone in the apartment but arrangements can be made for dogs to be left outside in the garden by contacting us prior to arrival.
Droppings must be cleaned away regularly so as not to inconvenience other guests using the garden. Thank you :-)
As a family we are trying to help the environment in a small way by reducing the amount of packaging waste on our property. Your efforts in disposing of your waste responsibly is appreciated and our compost bin and worm farm would appreciate all off your food waste. There is a lidded bucket for guests to use for this purpose: )

Sandy and Clive not so long ago found each other and recently married and moved back to this property. Sandy has brought a touch of class to Clive's life in general and an attention to detail to the original air bnb listing started by Clive 3 years ago, so while it retains the original warm and inviting vibe it now comes with something of a sparkle. We love to share life stories with guests and as we have a family ourselves also enjoy knowing that we are providing a break away on the coast for others with children, but we also relish providing a seamless and private experience for those seeking peace and tranquility.
