We do recommend guests to book 2 nights at Nónsteinn. There are so many places to enjoy and then perfect to relax in the evening.
Kirkjufell - Kirkjufellsfoss - Snæfellsjökull - Water cave - lava fields - black beaches - bird life - whale watching - Mountain view - northern lights - sunset, quietness, wonderful restaurants and so much more that you can experience here or near by.
Nónsteinn is perfect place for newly weds, couples or friends.

This is a 25.5 s.m. cottage. It was built in 2016 and has all the basic necessitiese. There is a shower, small stove, fridge, microwave, and basic utensils to cook a simple meal. There is a queen size bed and cozy chairs to enjoy the landscape outside. We do have another cabin for rent, Grásteinn.

The cottage is by our farm and we live in a house by it. You can experience the farm life if you wish. There are sheep in the houses from beginning of December until the end of May. The Sheep have the lambs in may and it would be quite an experience to be a part of that. We also have goats, horses , 2 border collie dogs and 2 cats.
We do have a washing machine and a dryer in our house. You are more than welcome to use it..just ask.

We also have a bedroom in our house that we rent out to guests. Do not be surprised if you see guests walking around the fields.
If you are in Reykjavík and would like to spend time to go Freediving...then I would recommend (URL HIDDEN) This is my brothers company and he would take you for an excellent dive.

Snæfellsnes Peninsula is an area rich with natural beauty , ocean views and beautiful mountains. You can enjoy hiking, golfing , riding tours, sea angling and whale watching. Snæfellsjökull National Park is close by and you could travel by ferry to the West Fjords or stop at the island Flatey. You could also try the sea tours and enjoy the view of uncountable islands in Breiðarfjörður. This part of the country is just the nature in all its glory.

We used to be a family of five but now it has changed into 10. With our kids having found they re better half and two beautiful grand daughters being born, the number doubled. But we are lucky grandparents since our granddaughters live not far away. How lucky we are. But now there are only two of us...Anna and Óli living at the farm. The farm is three minutes from Grundarfjörður, Mýrar. We used to have around 200 sheep but now there are about 75. We also are proud owner of 7 spoiled goats. Kolfinna, Kyrja, Bubbi, Línus, Móna, Sóley and Ketill are the names. We also have two border collies Mía and Flóki. The sibling cats Klói and Nala, tend to visit our guests during the night. We had been enjoying couch surfing for two years....only hosting , and we had a great experience doing that. We started 2016 renting through airbnb. First we offered homestay at our house but since then we have added Grásteinn, Nónsteinn and Álfasteinn. We are easy going and love to spend time at home. We do love having family and friend over for a dinner or to play games. Must admit that numer one is being able to take care of our granddaughters.
