The loft divides night zone, one "tatami" double bed, and the living zone with the kitchen and the sofà bed. There's a little balcony where can view the old town and the rests of ancients buildings, read a book, take a glass of wine...

The district, built during the Islamic domination, was the fortified citadel where the emir and his ministers had abode , and it still retains the name (halisah, the chosen, the pure). Even today there hovers a special oriental atmosphere accentuated by the presence of monuments in Arab-Norman style. Central district, but popular, offers a insight into Palermo life. It is not rare, past the church of St. Teresa, find men engaged in cooking and selling "babbaluci", snails marinated in oil, parsley, garlic and pepper and served in cones from "walking" and the restaurants cook the fresh fish on the embers! The heart of the neighborhood is Piazza della Kalsa, but the area extends to Corso Vittorio Emanuele, and contains many of the most interesting monuments of the city.
