Apartment 1 is on our 2nd floor. It does not offer views of the village but instead the wooded/mountain nature. The room has a queen size bed, and a single bed, full bathroom with shower, living room with a flat screen TV, kitchen with double burners and fridge.

Here at Hafslo Gjestehus we feel all rooms should include free of charge cleaning, fresh bed linens, and tumble dried towels in the bathroom upon arrival.

Our guests have access to our beautiful 3 level garden, which has a double charcoal BBQ, outdoor furniture and views of the village, neighboring sheep farms and hafslo lake.
On the first floor next to the reception we have a washing machine, dryer and iron/ironing board available to all our guests free of charge.

We are always enthusiastic about helping our guests with sightseeing and helping them find the best tours around organized or on their own. There are many things in the surrounding area that are of interest and we would love to help you see as many as possible.

Hafslo Gjestehus has the best views around. If you want to feel like you are vacationing in a picture you couldn't do better than our location. In the spring and early summer you can enjoy our neighbors which are sheep/lambs and there are lovely walking paths all around us.
Best of all while staying in the Hafslo Gjestehus is the location to all the famous attractions are all under 1 hour from here.

Hello we are Remi and Kiki! We have been living in Hafslo Gjestehus since the summer of 2012 and are constantly making changes for the better. Remi grew up just up the hill from the guesthouse and Kiki grew up in Florida with an American mother and Norwegian father. Remi has family from the Bergen area and Kiki has lived in Ålesund where her father is from so feel free to ask for any travel advice for the west coast and best routes to take! Our number one thing to do in this area is the Nigardsbreen glacier hike as that is where we met. It is one of the best arms off of the Jostedalen glacier. There are many arms here on the east side which we definitely recommend visiting as they are all different in comparison. Unfortunately Norway has a lot of advertisement for the briksdalsbreen arm on the west side and it is almost gone. There is also many great hiking trails in the area, river rafting, kayaking (to the glacier/or around the fjord),and skiing in the winter. We are also proud of the Urnes Stav church which is the only stav church protected by Unesco. Our favourite thing about living in this guesthouse is meeting so many people around the world! It is always exciting for us to meet our guests as we live in an apartment on the first floor of the guesthouse which means we are always available! You will often see us in the garden in the afternoons when the weather is good and we welcome you to enjoy the garden anytime. Our garden has 3 levels with the best views of Hafslo, there is a lovely path next to the guesthouse that you can take into the village and during the season it is full of wild raspberries which makes the walk popular with our guests. The neighbours raise lambs so in the months of May and June you will see them out there hoping around.

Hafslogjestehus has 7 apartments and my family and I live on the first floor next to the reception. We are always available and on beautiful days you will see us in the garden enjoying the weather, and hopefully good company.
