Villa Evis is designed to serve the needs of the typical insular home of the Aegean Sea. The colours of blue and white are diffusible through out the house and along with the elegant decoration make the tourist experience in the first place the essence of greek summer and hospitality. The large rooms, the archs, the wooden ceiling and the traditional fireplace along with the flowered garden and tha paved yard are a manifistation of the greek insular architecture. All these elements combine their power to convey a unique feeling to the visitor.
As far as the village is concerned, Villa Evis is located in a promising land that combines interesting venues where you can enjoy a cool drink or a tasty meal next to the beach and watch the sunset on the horizon or you can experience the appealing nightlife at the numerous bars and night clubs. Apart from that, Potos gives you the opportunity to explore the sandy beaches with the crystal waters of the southern area of the island where you are able to try different activities based on water(water sports, scuba diving, fishing, daytrip with boat around the island) or you can choose to go to the mountainous village of theologos that is located ten minutes from potos if you are a lover of the traditional way of life in the mountains and accept the challenges of the area ( hiking, cycling, riding a horse). Residents are actively involved in local culture clubs, striving to make the island's traditions known to its visitors, and to bring them closer to the spirit of Thassos. These clubs hold various events throughout the year, especially during the summer months.
By taking part in some of the local events and celebrations (events in the ancient theatre, events in the house of monks "kalogeriko", the celebration of kazavitiana, astrocamping, honey festival, Thassian wedding and the jumbing of the fire in Theologos, the traditional production of local drink called tsipouro from local grapes and the production of local olive oil in Theologos and the music workshops in Limenaria) you'll get close to the locals and witness what open-hearted and hospitable people they are. You'll also see that they really enjoy good fun!
