Only 1 hour 45 minutes from Auckland with no traffic lights on the way.
Our holiday home has been fully renovated and insulated. It is warm summer and winter. Afternoon sun streams in through the front doors. Our interior is a soft blue throughout, with a coastal theme. The house is light and bright with morning sun for breakfast on the rear deck, and cold drinks on the front deck in the afternoon . Dine on a 10 seater bench table and chairs. A great place to relax and soak up the afternoon sun. A Weber BBQ in the shed for evening meals outside. Cleaning products supplied for after use. Very appreciated.
Our lounge is a lovely open plan area to relax and chill in. The doors bi- fold right back for entertaining.
The huge bean bags are lovely for kids and adults alike. The seating has leather couches and a black leather sofa bed if required.
Our kitchen has all the mod cons, from fridge freezer, foreman gill, dishwasher,rangehood, microwave, electric beater, juicer, electric frypan, coffee grinder and full oven. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and separate toilet. All toiletries provided. A separate laundry at the end of the hall with a large tub. Our outside shower is the best thing since sliced bread, very private with hot water plumbing. Great after a day at the beach, or first thing in the morning showering with the bird song.
The fully fenced yard is great for toddlers and small pets are permitted ( just ask)
Our location is just a street away from the beach itself, with 10 kilometres of flat white sand. One of he safest surf beaches in NZ. The surf lifesaving club is nearby. We have oddles of boogie boards, noodles, buckets and spades, surf boards to use for all ages. Beach sand chairs for the beach and umbrellas and beach mats.
Our Bach is suitable for couple and families wanting a weekend getaway, summer holiday with the freedom to do your own thing and self cater. If that's not your thing, there are lots of local eateries to tempt you. Markets every Saturday from 9-12 over the summer months
