Travel restrictions
Due to COVID-19 there are lockdowns in place across the UK and travel is not permitted other than in limited circumstances until at least April. Failure to follow the law is a criminal offence.
Park View is in a great location and is within walking distance of the centre of the historic town of Lewes with its quirky shops, great pubs, cafes, restaurants, Lewes Castle and Harveys Brewery. It's also just a stroll to Pells Outdoor Lido Pool which is a great day out when the sun shines. If you want to venture a bit further afield, the station with trains to Brighton and London is a short walk away.
You'll love all the history and quirkiness that surrounds you in this unique town!

The double sofa bed is small. Cosy for two people or big and stretchy for one!
Please note that the steps up to the flat are very slippery when wet so take care. Also, it is not very well lit, so if you are arriving after dark I have put a torch in the letter box by the gate for your use if necessary.
The flat is next to a railway line. The trains are not loud or too frequent, apart from rush hours. They don't run overnight and have never been considered to be a problem, in fact they add to the appeal of the flat for some people. The road is quiet.
There is no television licence for the property so it is illegal to watch live TV even on a portable device. Sorry!
Although there is wifi, it is not very reliable as is a community free wifi and varies with the amount of people using it and whereabouts at the property you are. It is better on the terrace.
When the weather is cold, the water may take a little longer to heat. To avoid tepid showers, please don't open the taps completely in order to give the water a chance to heat up.
