Casa Fontanelle è immersa nel Parco dei Sassi di Roccamalatina e gode di una vista spettacolare sulla vallata del fiume Panaro. La mattina ti sorprenderà con un'alba suggestiva e al tramonto il sole tingerà le rocce dei Sassi. La casa è particolarmente adatta a coppie e famiglie.

Casa Fontanelle è immersa nel verde di una natura incontaminata con diversi sentieri che portano nel parco dei Sassi e nelle vicine montagne. Il cammino più importante è la via Romea - Nonantolana, che dalla Germania, passando dall'abbazia di Nonantola portava i pellegrini verso Roma attraverso l'Appennino Tosco Emiliano. VIGNOLA è la città più vicina, a venti minuti di auto, raggiungibile da Bologna anche in treno. Nella zona sono visitabili castelli medievali, pievi romaniche, produzioni tipiche e biologiche di aceto balsamico e prosciutto di Modena, parmigiano reggiano e vini locali.
Casa Fontanelle is surrounded by nature with various tracks connecting it to the Park of Sassi and the near mountains. The most famous one is the via Romea Nonantolana, that was connecting Germany to Rome via the Abbs of Nonantola and the crossing of the Tosco Emiliano Appennine. VIGNOLA, that you can reach also by train from Bologna or by bus from Modena, is the closest town, twenty minutes by car.
On the area there are many medieval castles and villages, romanic small rural churches. It is also possible visit, taste and buy local and organic excellence food: Modena Balsamico and Prosciutto, Parmesan cheese from slow food presidium Modena white cow milk. In early April there is the Vignola cherry blossoming festival end of May- early June the cherry fruits festival.
