Welcome to Taghum Hollow. A modern cozy, private, fully furnished and equipped studio suite with a full kitchen. We are about 8 min from Nelson in a rural setting. Just far enough to be quiet and close enough that getting to town doesn't feel like a commute. We are right in the middle of some of the best new mountain biking trails and a fantastic local beach. The suite has everything you may need. It is a quiet and private spot to spend your time after you've done some exploring.

We put a lot of thought into our space to make it work and to make it comfortable. You will find everything you need. We designed and equipped it as if we wanted to stay here. The kitchen has everything to make meals if you don't want to eat out all the time. It's close to town yet you can forget the world exists when you're here. We are surrounded by big, beautiful mature trees. The suite is private and on the ground floor. Although attached to our home there is no one above you or below you. Come and go as you please. We tend to have guests that like their privacy but always available if you need directions, recommendations or just have questions about the area.

Guests are welcome to enjoy our acreage. You will have a private entrance and sitting area outside. There is a dedicated parking spot, WiFi, Smart TV, Netflix, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable queen size bed and double futon for an extra guest or children.
(Please note: we don't accept 4 adults in our space. A couple with 2 children is fine but please don't book our suite for 4 adults)

Our family lives in the house adjacent to the suite and we share the property with our guests. We are reasonably quiet, but guests may see, hear, and interact with our son, or meet a friendly neighbor or a dog from time to time. We have a flat and paved driveway (hard to find in mountains) and suitable for young kids to ride their bikes on.

We are about a kilometer from Taghum beach (a local hangout in the summer), a short walk from the lake, just down the road from Morning Mountain (favorite mountain biking area in summer, sledding and snowshoeing in the winter) and a 15 min drive to Whitewater ski Hill.
