PaDee's Palace is huge and all yours to share and enjoy.
Including pool, spa & BBQ
Friendly owners live on the second level and have friendly dogs that will meet and greet you when you return home - they do not live downstairs, and are discouraged to visit but they like to share the garden and pool area.
All common areas and bathroom is shared.
Our washing facility is located in the main bathroom and can be used by all guests. We provide washing liquids - please do not wash shoes or bags of any sort.

Downstairs is yours and Upstairs is our private space, please respect our privacy as we will yours. We live in an open style tree house - so no doubt you will see us from time to time and perhaps even share a meal or wine and chat. Always available to recommend and assist with booking tours and local advice. As I was previously a tour guide - I know Cairns and can help you plan your stay and book tours all from the comfort of the gazebo round the pool with a coldie!

We have 4 bedrooms available in total to rent so if you have up to 5 people travelling together - no problem just request price for this option and if available we can sort you out
Other rooms may be rented during your stay - all facilities are shared
dogs live on this tropical style property - we have fly screens on all windows including bedroom windows but we cant guarantee that you wont have a visit from a bug, fly, ant, bush roach, spider, bird, gecko or friendly dog - after all you are visiting the tropics - so please be open minded - this is a safe comfortable clean and friendly home stay not a 5 star hotel. As a minimal cleaning fee only is added please ensure you clean up after yourself and keep shared areas tidy at all times

PaDee's Palace is within easy walking distance to the City Centre, Cairns Hospital, Reef Terminal, all major Sports facilities, Convention Centre and Language Schools - however we can include a bicycle for you to use during your stay. Cairns is a great place to explore by bicycle as it's flat, not too busy with traffic, everything's close by and there is many off road cycling tracks. Please note that you must agree to include your airbnb bond to cover damage or loss of your bicycle, helmet, lock and light if you choose to use them. Not wearing a helmet is a policed, fineable offence - make sure you wear it!

G'day from Sunny Cairns :) come on.... come and live the dream! Life in the tropics beats to a different drum - whether it is the pounding of a tropical down pour, the laughing of the morning kookaburra, the nightly chirping frogs, the sweet smell of the cut cane or sunrays that enlighten coral cays - you too may fall in love with the tropics as I did 15 years ago. Previously a seasoned traveller, this Eden surrounded by lush rainforest, colourful reef and ancient birds and animals provides an exciting liveable outdoor lifestyle to discover. Want advice on where to go and what to see? I could fill your every day with a new adventure as I have worked for many years in the tourism industry. However if its simple RnR with class that you are after - then that's what you'll get!! I've now been successfully hosting on Airbnb for 3 years and love meeting and hosting travellers by offering them a comfortable, clean and convenient accommodation choice of PaDees Palace, TropicVues or MountainVues. Our holiday homes are renovated (a long labour of love), constantly upgraded and ready for the traveller looking for comfort and quality. If you would like to join us for a chat, dinner, bbq or drinks we can be social and very much enjoy meeting and getting to know our guests or we can disappear being busy living in our lives, assisting other guests as we have many listings and unfortunately working our 'other jobs' :) For sure its up to you.
