La Cala del Moral、Malaga、西班牙
Ca' Dario is located on a hill in a quiet residential neighbourhood in a cul-de-sac street overlooking the tranquil fishing village of La Cala del Moral, 12 km east of bustling Malaga town.
- 15 min (steep) walk or 2 min drive to the village with all amenities and to Cala Flores beach with some seafood restaurants right on the beach.
The beach offers a traffic-free paseo maritimo promenade extending through several pedestrian tunnels or over a beautiful cliff walk to Rincon de la Victoria. With a total length of 7 km it is perfect for a run, stroll or bike ride to discover slightly busier Rincon de La Victoria to the east with plenty of beachside restaurants and Peñon del Cuervo and Playa El Palo to the west.
- Cala Flores and Playa del Rincon de la Victoria are good surfing spots when there is a swell. I can recommend a fantastic local surf teacher who taught our kids and who can supply all the needed gear for all ages.
Distances:
- 5 min drive to shopping centre incl large Carrefour supermarket
- 5 min drive or 15 min walk to Cueva del Tesoro (Treasure Cave), the only marine cave in Europe that can be visited
- 20 mins drive into museum, dining & nightlife hotspot Malaga
- 25 mins drive to Malaga airport
Strategic location allowing for fantastic day trips by car:
- 1.5 hrs to moorish Granada and its impressive Alhambra
- 2 hrs to mystic Cordoba
- 2 hrs to imposing Seville
- 1.5 hrs to historic Ronda
- 0.5 hrs to Nerja
- 1 hr to Costa Tropical
- 2 hrs to the ski & snowboard resort Sierra Nevada. You can literally go for a day on the slopes and be back for a dip into the sea or pool the same evening
- 2.5 hrs to surf hotspot Tarifa with its endless golden & virgin surf beaches amidst unspoilt scenery

Originally from South Tyrol in Northern Italy, I have lived, studied, travelled and worked all over Europe, Oceania and the Americas. Now mother of three and talent manager in the exciting world of marketing, we are currently based in Switzerland. I am multilingual and multicultural at heart with a passion for Southern Spain thanks to the influence of my Malaga-born husband Fran, a software engineer and passionate surfer.
