Highllyn B & B is close to Hobbiton movie set, restaurants in nearby Matamata 8 minutes drive. Quiet luxury accommodation with one group booked at a time - private bathroom. Wi-fi. Library with tea/coffee making facilities - Nespresso coffee machine.
Bedrooms: 1 with king sized bed, 1 with 2 x large single beds, double sofa-bed in the library.
Price is per person - cooked/continental breakfast included - for correct price calculation always enter number of guests - adults & children

You will have full access to the 'East Wing' with exclusive use of the library where you can relax with tea/coffee (Nespresso machine) making facilities, catch up with emails, play the piano, etc. You are welcome to join your hosts in the large open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. This is where breakfast is served. Sit in front of the open fire in winter or in the outdoor patio areas (front or back of the property) in summer if you wish. Or you may wish to take a stroll around the garden. Great star-gazing on a clear night.

Highllyn B & B is only 8 minutes' drive from Matamata in the central North Island. The views from the property are beautiful rolling hills and the magnificent Kaimai Ranges. You will see the Wairere Falls (recommended walk) from the garden. The sunsets are absolutely amazing. Star gazing is spectacular on a clear night.

I enjoy reading, sewing, knitting, crochet, crafts. I make natural soaps and ointments which I sell online. I grow the herb calendula, which I add to my products. We enjoy hosting people from all over the world in our home and aim to make them 'feel at home'.
