Our Tiny Studio Cottage is conveniently located in Swannanoa, between Black Mountain and downtown Asheville. Our cottage was originally built in 1927. We try to keep it as true to its era as possible while still enjoying the comforts of modern livability. The floors and windows are original to the space. It is perfect for a couple or single person. Most of our guests choose to enjoy the unique and delicious food Asheville has to offer by dining out but we do provide a useable cooking space if you prefer eating in! (pictures on the listing) The water heater is small so if you are travelling with more than one guest it may take up to 30 minutes for the water to heat back up again after the first shower!

The apartment includes a 32" tv with Roku! You will have to login to your own cable network, Hulu, etc. DVD player and Netflix provided.
The bed is a FULL sized bed.

The neighborhood is a couple miles from Warren Wilson college and its hiking trail! It's a beautiful easy walk that follows alongside the Swannanoa river. We are also conveniently located less than a mile from the Ingles grocery store!

Hey I'm Katie! I'm married to Ben and we have two cute daughters--Piper and August (Gus)! We also have a little dude, Milo! Ben was born and raised in Asheville and I grew up in Kentucky. We met in 2010 and have been married since 2012. We love playing music together, reading, being outside, and drinking ridiculous amounts of coffee. We love trying new things, meeting new people, and helping others whenever possible. Ben is a car design major who enjoys rebuilding antique cars, fixing up houses, and being the best Papa ever. Katie is a book worm who never grew out of making living room sheet tents and playing "the floor is lava." What can I say. We're a power couple! :) We hope you come to Asheville and experience all of the amazing things (food) it has to offer. When you do, come stay with us!

We will interact as little or as much as the guest prefers! We will try to be here when you arrive to say hello and give you small details for check in. If you would rather us send you the check in information via messages for added privacy we can arrange that. We love meeting new people and hearing about your trip but also understand needing solace!
