A comfortable cottage with private courtyard is set in a quiet rural location within the grounds of a Heritage Homestead built in 1885.
Breakfast is included being: cereal, bread, fruit, milk, juice and condiments.
This pastoral setting with panoramic views is only a 15 minute scenic drive from historic Richmond Village. Great location as central to the East and Southern coast of Tasmania.

A unique location in an old area of European Tasmanian settlement. the Old Cook house has been converted into a self-contained 1 bedroom cottage. The property has 100 acres of open pastures boarded by two water courses and Dry Sclerophyll open forest. The night skies are breath-taking as is the Wildlife that can be spotted is amazing and unique.
The resident friendly pet sheep are very social and enjoy a hand feed of pellets every now and then. If you would like to hand feed the Sheep, please let Louise know and a time can be arranged.
Staying more than five days: a complimentary housekeeping service is provided every five days.

Guest are welcome to wonder the grounds and take in the rural and natural beauty of the property. The property is boarded by 2 water courses being Whats Gully (southern side) and White Kangaroo Rivulet (western side). Please keep in mind it is a rural area and hazards are present, suitable footwear and watch were you are at all times as the terrain is un-even and there is native wildlife and farm animals present.
Please do not access paddocks with farm animals present unless prior arrangement has been arranged and your hosts are present.
