Once you enter this tropical paradise you will never want to leave. Our pretty, cottage-like home is situated on two acres of private ocean front property - tranquil and cozy with hardwood bamboo floors throughout, lots of natural light and updated furniture & appliances. The outside is a private tropical retreat offering breathtaking views of the ocean, horizon and marine life. Also perfect for just lounging in a Palm-shaded hammock with a beverage, book and/or love of your choice.

This serene, two acre property has historical significance once owned and homesteaded by one of the founding families of the Upper Keys, the Russells. The actual home is deemed as one of the historical "Red Cross" homes that were re-built immediately after the great hurricane of 1935. It has a gated entrance off of the Old Overseas Road with a long driveway leading to the entrance of the house. Lined with bamboo trees, lush tropical plants and palm trees, the front yard offers an introduction to the private tropical setting that awaits. Driving in from the entrance you will see a glimpse of the ocean-view, sandy back yard and will instantly be enamored by the property. One of our guests jokingly called it nature's "Prozac"... the house is a charming, cozy space with lots of windows and natural light so that you still feel very much part of the tropical setting whether inside or outside. Of course the outside yard has more than 150 feet of unobstructed oceanfront view and will instantly convince you that it is truly the perfect place to spend hours, days and even weeks basking in the tropics, sticking your toes in the sand and feeling "away from it all". If and when you want to actually see other people and socialize, most all of the best local restaurants, marinas, and shops are a short walking, biking or driving (whichever you prefer) distance from the house.

Guests will have sole access to the entire property except for a small, vacant one bedroom cottage in the back (closed off and separate from the house ). There will be no other people or guests on the property during your stay. Yard crew comes on Fridays to pick up landscaping debris.

The 200' dock is private to the property and is great for fishing or just lounging around. Although it will accommodate most boats, its access is limited during low tide with depth at less than 1' and up to 4' at high tide.
The pool is private to the property as well. It is a resort-style pool overlooking the ocean.

We are always available and responsive to our guests for whatever questions they have or any issue that may arise. We regularly check in by phone to confirm all is well but otherwise we look to give our guests their personal time and space.
