You will be in the Breitenrain Quarter, which used to be on of the oldest quarters of Bern. It is a very nice and quiet neighbourhood. After stepping out of the door you are in the city center in less then 10 minutes with public transport which is for free. A small walk down to the Aare, (the river who passes trough Bern) not a problem, you are down at the Aare in 5 minutes. Like nature the Botanical Gardens are only 5 minutes away.
