I live with my husband Alex near Loch Ness in the Highlands of Scotland. We are both retired but have 2 self catering cottages which keeps us busy and I also work for a friend one day a week as Manager of an Acupuncture clinic. I also do a couple of complementary therapies myself, and Alex teaches people fly fishing.
We both enjoy reading - I was a librarian, and we met at a local mountaineering club. Alex is a keen runner and is a Scottish champion cross-country and 5k in his age group. We like to stay in out of the way places, or occasionally in cities. Music - traditional, Alex plays the fiddle. I can't even sing in tune, but enjoy listening! Wish we had time to do more travelling, but we like many parts of the UK, Madeira, the Alps, Canada, New Zealand etc. etc. Still many places we'd like to visit. As guests we are friendly and respectful of your property As hosts we enjoy meeting different people and helping you to find the best walks, views, eating out etc. We are there if you need us, but do not intrude on your privacy.
