If you are bringing a pet we have a covered area for them if you want to leave them outside while you are gone for the day. For your convenience in cleaning up after your pet there is a shovel, plastic bags and a small outdoor trash can for this use.

Falsebottom Hide-away is located in beautiful Maitland canyon just to the east of National Scenic Byway, Spearfish Canyon. It's a ten minute drive to Spearfish for groceries, restaurants and other necessities. A twenty minute drive will take you to historic Deadwood for gambling, music concerts and local history. Right next to Deadwood is Lead, a town full of history, the Sanford Underground Scientific Laboratory and two ski areas. It's about one hour to Mt Rushmore, Hill City and Custer State Park on beautiful Hwy 385. Devil's Tower National Monument in Wyoming is also about an hour drive. If you are coming for the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, you'll be about 20 minutes away.
