My little 110 person village Hafnir (road 44) is a small ocean village 15 km (10 miles) from Kef Airport. There are no grocery stores in Hafnir but plenty by the roundabout where you make the turn to Hafnir. You need a car to get herre.
The ocean is 2 min walk and there is ocean view from both bedrooms and the kitchen.
You need a car to get here, public transport is poor, does not run after 20:00 and not on weekends. Taxis are expensive.

Wonderful for Northern lights watching in the winter time and the midnight sun in the summer. In the summertime, sunglasses are a must and guests might want to bring blinders for their eyes in case the midnight sun bothers them.

Call (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) and ask for a bus taxi to Hafnir, not available after 20:00 and not on weekends. There is no grocery store or any other store in Hafnir. The nearest grocery store is at the circle square where you turn to go to Hafnir. The Bonus is the cheapest store. Only licence vine stores sell alcoholic beverages, if found in a grocery store it is non-alcoholic. You can drink tap water anywhere in Iceland.

The ocean is 2 minutes walk away. On good days you can see seals, birds and a view of the Snæfells glacier. Proximity to Keflavik airport/Blue Lagoon. Within 10 min. drive from Hafnir you are at the Bridge between Continents (a very popular outlook post for northern lights), Gunnuhver a hot spring area and the Reykjanes Lighthouse. A wonderful drive to Geysir and Gullfoss is by the fishing village of Grindavik.

When in Hafnir, take the 1st right turn, then the 1st turn left and you are at my house. Corner house, reddish brown in colour and is on the corner of Seljavogur/Djúpivogur.
