I am a former Diplomat with the UN and Ambassador to Europe, and have lived and worked in many parts of the world: Russia, Africa, Asia, Europe and the USA. My graduate, doctoral & post doctoral education have all been US based. My work takes me across Europe and parts of Africa. I love adventure and exploring the great outdoors. Most Octobers find me climbing and trekking in the Himalayas (Everest Base Camp October 2018) and August in the high Alps moving from col to col across northern Italy, France and Switzerland. What better way to see the world?? Physical challenges keep me emotionally and spiritually grounded, healthy, fit and intellectually curious. Zandoli & Ti Zan were designed with a hint of Chiang Mai, but full of island flavor & rustic character - to capture the unique light and essence of the Caribbean - and celebrate the awesome views.
