Woodford Academy is walking distance and is open once a month, local markets are generally opened on weekends plus many local Antique shops nearby. If you are a keen mountain biker the Oaks Fire trail is nearby or if you wish to go for a relaxing bike ride we have bikes you can borrow. However, if bush walks are your thing the Transit of Venus walk starts 100m from our home we can advise you on other local bush walks. We have 2 sets of Golf Clubs to borrow and have contacts to get you a game at Wentworth Falls Country Club, as I normally play in the Saturday competition. Anyone for Tennis, the local tennis court is free also and only 5 minutes’ walk from our home, rackets available. If you need some pampering there are local massage and beauty therapist we can recommend. There is an abundance of bird life that visit the veranda, including a very special Bower Bird with his blue nest has resided on our property for the past 10 years.

We both enjoy being active and living healthy and hope to share all our tips we have learned travelling the world. Debbie enjoys reading, bush walking, gardening and cooking plus is a member of the local community choir. Don likes to be kept busy and enjoys playing golf whenever he can get a chance. We have recently started to travel a lot more over the past 5 years since all our children have left home, and on our travels, have stayed at a variety of accommodation and more recently AirBnb's, so we believe we have learnt a bit along the way and have something special to share.
