Come stay in the private, basement apartment, while you visit the quiet, one of a kind, small town of Shipshewana. You'll enjoy wooded views from the kitchen/Living room and a semi private patio. Bedrooms are carpeted, cleaned between guests, all other areas are covered in laminate. Apartment includes a full sized stove, refrigerator and microwave. Plates/bowls/silverware etc for 6 is provided. Take a walk on the trails through the small woods.

In the middle of Amish Country, we're a close drive to Shipshewana or Middlebury and an easy drive to the 80/90 Toll Road that will take you quickly to South Bend/Mishawaka. We're also a 5 minute drive to a petting zoo different than anything you've experienced. Two tasty ice cream stands are within 3 miles in two directions. We are less than 10 minutes away from the NEW Michiana Event Center and the famous open air Trading Places Flea Market, as well as the Shipshewana Event Center and Blue Gate Theater which frequently boasts popular musical acts as well as musical performances. Lots to do and see in this small town.

Overall, the neighborhood is pretty quiet, as we sit in the middle of our 7 acre property and you can't visibly see any neighbors. We do live in the house above the apartment and we have children, so some noise is unavoidable, but we try to keep it to a minimum!
