庭先からは瀬戸内海が一望出来、天気の良い日には宮島を始めとした瀬戸の島々を眼下に望む事が出来ます。
家の横には川が流れており、川のせせらぎが聞こえ、小鳥のさえずりや虫の無き声も耳に心地良く聞こえます。
宮島からもほど近く、車で10分程度で宮島口まで到着します。
