The house has been totally refurbished since we bought it in 2015. It is now fresh and welcoming, while still maintaining the original 1780's character. It is now a wonderful house for groups of friends and families to relax and enjoy.

This part of France is one of the most relaxing and peaceful.
It is close to the Pyrénées, close to Biarritz, close to Lourdes, close to Pau and close to the Jurancon wine region. This means that there are many things to do or nothing to do whatever feels right. You can even drive to San Sebastian for lunch.
Pau is a lovely old city and is the home of the oldest golf course outside the British Isles.
The house is in a small village and it is wonderfully relaxing. Its takes about an hour to walk around Lac de Daozon or you can while away a few hours by fishing in the lake.

We are an Australian couple who love owning a house in France. We have a wonderful family of two sons and two daughters and bought this house to give us all a wonderful relaxing space to visit and enjoy life. We both still work so we cannot be there as often as we would like , so we are happy for other people to share our lovely home. Our life motto would be..to make the most of every day!
