We offer you to come and stay with us on our horse farm in our lovely cottage with a breathtaking view of the mountains and towards the ocean. Very good location to stay while exploring the Snæfellsnes peninsula. We are only few minutes driving time away from many nice and beautiful places to visit such as Arnarstapi, Hellnar and the National park Snæfellsjökull, Rauðfeldsgjá ravine, Búðir and Bjarnarfoss waterfall.
We can also offer you to come ride with us from 20.May-20.Sept.

The accommodation consists of one large room that serves as living room, bedroom and kitchen. There are beds for two people and there is a private bathroom with a shower. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances such as fridge, stove with an oven, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. There is a terrace in front of the accommodation where you can enjoy the view from outside. Do note that the property is right next to another but the terrace and everything in the house is private.

Guests need to walk few meters from the parking lot to access the cottage.
Our horses are kept in a fence very close to the house sometimes which means you can really tell that this is a horse farm with all that comes with it.
Do note that our dogs and cats run free around our farm.

Hi, I am the owner of the apartment as well as the Horse rental which I and my family run from our farm Stóri-Kambur from 1.June – 15.September every year. My passion is my family, my horses, dogs, cat and other animals on my farm. I am the mother of 4 children and I have one grandchild. My husband and I have been living on this farm since 2005 and we are both raised on the Snæfellsnes peninsula so I can definitely say that we are locals. I like meeting new people and I am very glad to assist you in any way that I can while your stay here with us. Every new friend is a start of a new adventure and memories.
