A wonderful welcoming house in a beautiful residential neighborhood with no occupancy taxes! We are 15-25 minutes from Tanglewood, Kripalu, Mt Greylock, the Rockwell Museum, MassMoCA, skiing and hiking. Our home is centrally located to all of the fun things to do in the Berkshires. We've lived here for over 20 years and are happy to provide helpful insights for your stay. One of the reasons we love the Berkshires is that each season offers wonderfully unique experiences for any visitor.

The large guest suite/studio is perfect for three people with a comfortable and luxurious king-sized bed, twin bed and plus a queen-sized air mattress can be added to accommodate more guests. The spacious room also offers a private full bath, seating area (loveseat, TV and coffee table ), office space (desk with comfortable chair) plus a large walk-in closet for your belongings. A mini-refrigerator and microwave is provided to guests as well as coffee, tea and a light breakfast of homemade banana bread, oatmeal and other snacks. The guest room is located on our second floor so there are steps to get into our home as well as into the guest area.

Guests are welcome to spend time in shared areas such as the enclosed front porch and large back deck with comfortable seating and fire table as well as a glass table and chairs. Snacks and a light breakfast are provided in your room as well as water, coffee and tea.
Our kitchen is also available on a limited basis for guests to cook quick meals for themselves. While there is a dishwasher, guests are asked to clean up after themselves in the kitchen; load dishwasher, wipe off counters etc. Guests are provided with a continental breakfast in their suite consisting of a homemade banana bread, oatmeal, fruit, coffee and tea along with some other snacks.

It is important to note that we are a cat home with a few well-behaved, fun and unassuming cats.
Parking: Guests are requested to park on the right-hand side of the driveway leaving access to the garage.

We live directly across the street from an elementary school so the area is busy for a small period of time each morning and each afternoon when school is in session. Otherwise it is a diverse and safe neighborhood with kids traveling back and forth to the playground and adults walking, biking and running.

My family stayed at our first Airbnb this summer (2017) and loved every minute of it. We were convinced that we could offer the same friendly hospitality in our own home. Our family is easy-going, helpful and flexible. And yes, we are a crazy cat family! We love to travel to the beach especially Sanibel Island, FL where we spend time, biking, fly fishing, playing games, doing puzzles and relaxing.
