This beautifully appointed restored church provides a memorable 2 acre creek side retreat. Located in the Austin Hill Country/Wimberley area; just 40 minutes from downtown Austin. Chapel Home, featured on HGTV's Great American Country Network Series "You Live In What" in December 2014 will, no doubt, exceed your expectations! The home is just outside the quaint, artistic village of Wimberely, Texas. It's a prime location to enjoy Austin/Wimberley and the best swimming holes in Texas!

The space
Chapel Home rests above an amazing waterfall on Lone Man Creek and offers all the comforts that discerning guests have come to expect. The home provides a spacious high ceiling living/kitchen area furnished with antiques and other high end furniture. The home offers three private bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is a beautiful 5' round chandelier in the center of the living space above the kitchen island. It also features a bathtub in the top of the steeple, stained glass windows, a covered porch and a large island kitchen. The home has a spacious yard from which to enjoy the view of the waterfall and take in the beautiful Wimberley hill country landscape.

Guests will have the entire 2 acre property to access which sits on Lone Man Creek with a waterfall. A fire pit is available on the bank of the river for responsible use by guests.

- All linens/pillows are provided.
- The waterfall runs about 9 months a year and is dependent upon the amount of rainfall; during a drought it may not be running.
- Guests may see wildlife on the property. Once there was a church mouse that visited, and occasionally a spider or two. We do our best to keep nature's intruders outside, but please be aware that on a very hot or cold day mice work hard to come inside. As a precaution, please do not leave food out on counters, etc. A plastic storage box is provided, if needed.
- Please only bring pets (two maximum, dogs and/or cats only) that are house trained and do not sleep in beds. There is a pet fee of $100 for the stay that is used to clean/deodorize and clean any fur, etc. that a pet may leave behind. Additional fees may be applied if warranted.
- We do our best to have everything in working order, but occasionally something may break and we will fix as quickly as possible.

Chapel Home is located just outside the village of Wimberley, in the Texas Hill Country. It's just 40 minutes to downtown Austin. It's located in an amazing setting with beautiful live oak trees, hills, rivers/creeks, and beautiful scenery.
