Coal Mine Road Cabin offers peaceful accommodation in a natural bush setting with views over Norfolk Bay on the Tasman Peninsula.
Coal Mines Historic Site is a one minute drive away, Port Arthur Historic Site a 30 minute drive away.
Relax and enjoy the natural flora and fauna. Our property is home to wallabies, possum, wombats and echidna. Bird life is abundant; cockatoo, parrots, kookaburra, wedge tailed and sea eagle are frequently spotted.

Our cabin is compact, well equipped and private.
There is a queen bed in an open plan mezzanine bedroom overlooking the lounge and kitchen area. There is a small private bedroom with a single bed and a single trundle bed.
The kitchen has gas cooktop and electric oven. There is a full size fridge with freezer and a microwave. All crockery and cookware are provided.
The cabin is set on private land surrounded by our family farm.
Read a book on the deck or stroll to the rear of the property for views of Mount Wellington.
Walk down to the waterfront and jetty or along to the Coal Mines Historic Site.
Bring your boat and set off from the local boat ramp. The property provides plenty of space for car parking and boat trailers.
Relax around the fire-pit in the evening or take a nocturnal walk to spot the native animals.

All residents on the Tasman Peninsula collect rain water as their main water source. We ask that guests are mindful of their water use.
All bed linen and towels are washed between bookings and are ironed on an as needed basis.
Breakfast provisions are supplied for the first night of each booking.
The cabin does not have Wifi.
