Stunning rural setting with a 180-degree view of native bush clad hills and valleys. The Loft Studio Unit is clean, well appointed and private.
BY CAR:
- Haruru Falls 2 mins.
- Paihia is approx 8 mins. (beach, water sport activities, kayaking, parasailing, paddle boarding, shopping, supermarkets, bar, restaurants and Russell Ferry).
- Waitangi Treaty grounds, Golf course, and Mountain Bike Park are approximately 10 minutes.
- Bay of Islands airport 13 mins.
- Kerikeri township 15 minutes.

- An additional selection of pillows from soft to a firm is available.
- Large open floor plan. Clean and very comfortable.
- Tea, coffee, sugar, Stevia, and a starter pack on arrival which consists of baked goods, fresh seasonal fruit, when possible, (some are from our trees), and milk.
- Purified drinking water (processed through a UV water filtration system)
- There is a small mini fridge in the room for storing cold drinks etc.
- Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash and Body Moisturiser provided.
- Heated Towel Rail in the bathroom.
- A new Samsung Smart TV has been installed, which has Freeview, Freeview on Demand, and Netflix.
- For longer stays, linen changed out every 3 days.
- Laundromat 8 minutes away in Paihia.
- There is a picnic table overlooking the valley and native bush clad hills. Feel free to sit out at your leisure and enjoy the surroundings. If you're lucky, the neighboring horses might come up to the fence.
- Breakfast bowls, plates, cutlery, wine glass and cups for tea and coffee are provided. You are welcome to bring along your own cereal, bagels, breads and spreads, etc. for a continental breakfast. There are no cooking facilities provided in the room. A toaster and kettle have been provided.

Stunning views in a peaceful rural setting. Our home is set on just over 3 acres.
Lots of Birdlife which includes wild pheasants, turkeys, Tui in song, Rosella parrots and Wild Pigeon, and a whole lot more. Oh, and of course, our namesake "The Kingfisher."
There are horses in the paddocks adjacent to our property, and usually, over the summer months, you'll see a foal or two.

Denis and I moved to the Bay of Islands back in 2013 after visiting the area for the previous five years. We'd tow our caravan from Nelson, where we lived for 16 years through to Northland, and not want to leave. We fell in love with its natural beauty. Denis is originally from Christchurch, and I am originally from the island of Bermuda. We have both traveled extensively throughout New Zealand and around the world. Our interests include traveling, fishing, gardening, golf, theatre, and much much more. Although I mention that I speak Portuguese, it is fragmented, but I do understand most of what is spoken.
