Battery Point is made up of individual houses, generally built a century ago. It's a friendly neighbourhood with lots of gardens, trees and parks, as well as the beach, 5 minutes down the road (not for swimming though).

French woman lost down under and loving it. Je vis actuellement en Tasmanie, un petit bijou de région, encore peu connue et sauvage. Pourtant, chaque fois que j'en ai la possibilité, je rentre en France où j'ai plaisir à retourner à notre chalet de Megève auquel sont attachés tant de souvenirs de vacances merveilleuses, tant en hiver pour le ski qu'en été pour ses balades. En vacances, j'attache beaucoup d'importance à la chaleur des lieux où je séjourne et c'est pour cette raison que j'accorde toujours ma préférence au logement chez l'habitant, quel que soit le pays dans lequel je me trouve.
