A colonial home that has maple wooden trim and tan colors on the inside. A fireplace is also available that we do not use and that isn't active but makes for nice decoration. All brick exterior with tile roofing and white pillars on the front porch. Lots of leather sofas and maple wooden trimmed dining table is also available. Conveniently located next to Newark International Airport and Downtown Newark (5-10 mins aways, details in additional information), as well as parks and stores.

Hi, my name is Patrick Mamudu. I am co-hosting this humble abode with my mother, Catherine Luke. We have lived in the Southward section of Newark, NJ since the early '80s. Our current interests are traveling, shopping, teaching (in various public high schools in the city of Newark, New Jersey), cooking, attending church every Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), movies, music, and medicine. Our ethnic origin is Nigeria, and we take pride in our culture. We love wearing our native culture clothes and also cooking many of the staple dishes from there (jollof rice, fried rice, moi moi, akara, suya, pounded yam, etc). A fun fact about Catherine is that she has been to several European countries during the '90s in order to sell many of the native clothing that is a staple in our country. I have been to London, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, France, Austria, etc. We are devout Christians and believe that God is the centerpiece of our life; he has been good to us. Our faith allows us to be hospitable hosts who value all of our guests. We take the extra step in making sure your stay is comfortable and feels just like home. We are also helpful in regards to movement within the Greater New York region.
