Remodeled Prospector studio w/ a queen bed & comfy full sleeper sofa w/memory foam mattress. The unit features a dining table for 4, electric fireplace, 40" HDTV with DirecTV and DVD, covered deck, & free Wi-Fi! The kitchen has a clothes washer-dryer combo, bar height fridge, four burner cooktop, full size microwave, Kuerig coffee maker with a selection of coffees, teas, and even hot cocoa! There's also a toaster, blender, and an Oster Countertop Convection Oven large enough for a 12" pizza!

For skiers, the unit has a ski rack, boot tray, and plenty of room to store your gear. And The Prospector complex has a ski rental shop onsite! A seasonal swimming pool and year-round hot tub are nearby, and the condo is located right on the free Park City Bus Route. So you can catch a free express shuttle bus to Park City's Main Street, ski areas, and lots of dining, entertainment and shopping is just minutes away. There's a local gym and spa right next door that offers short term and daily membership, fees vary by season and length of stay. A variety of restaurants and bars are also conveniently located within walking distance of Prospector Square Conference Center.

Whether you're skiing, hiking, golfing or in Park City on business, you'll be happy to return to this condo to rest and relax after enjoying all that Park City, Utah has to offer. Our condo is very cozy, clean and nice. Attention was paid to detail to make your stay as nice and comfortable as possible.

For parties of 2, we assume you'll just use the queen bed. Please inform us at booking if your party of 2 will be needing the sleeper/sofa. (Additional fees apply). For groups of 3 or more, we'll automatically have it made up for you. A twin air mattress is available, as well as a folding playpen/crib...let us know if you need them. Just let us know how many guests to expect and what you'll need to accommodate everyone!

The extra guest charges cover city and county hotel/occupancy taxes, and additional housekeeping & laundry fees for extra linens and towels. The onsite HOA security staff will document undeclared guests via the hallway security cameras, and report them to the authorities. Under-reporting of guests will result in hefty fines from Park City and Summit County for failure to pay hotel and occupancy taxes. Please report all guests to avoid this unpleasant situation.

The entire condo is yours, and the pool and hot tub is just a 2 minute walk away! There is a wheelchair ramp to enter the building, and our unit is on the first floor. However, the bathroom has a standard tub, and is not wheelchair accessible at this time. (We're grandfathered under the old laws, and this is not required. But we're planning a future remodel for wheelchair access, as we have family members with special needs, and understand the need for these accommodations).

ADA INFORMATION: According to the Americans with Disabilities Act, a service animal means any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. Tasks performed can include, among other things, pulling a wheelchair, retrieving dropped items, alerting a person to a sound, reminding a person to take medication, or pressing an elevator button.

Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA. Other species of animals, whether wild or domestic, trained or untrained, are not considered service animals. The work or tasks performed by a service animal must be directly related to the individual’s disability. It does not matter if a person has a note from a doctor that states that the person has a disability and needs to have the animal for emotional support. A doctor’s letter does not turn any animal into a service animal. Please contact us before booking is you are travelling with a service animal.

Please note: Smoking/Vaping is NOT allowed anywhere on the grounds of "The Prospector Convention Center". Also, we do not offer seasonal or long term rentals during the ski season, just the rates published online, which include discounts for 3+ nights or weekly stays.

Dogs are not allowed, unless classified as service animals under ADA guidelines. Please note that service animals are specially trained to perform specific tasks for people with special needs. Under ADA rules, "emotional support animals" are NOT service animals, and are not allowed at The Prospector. Cats are allowed, but require a surcharge to cover additional cleaning to remove pet dander and hair. Please contact us before booking if traveling with any animal.

Prospector is a residential neighborhood, with single family homes near Park City High School. "The Prospector" is a condo complex adjacent to the single family homes, that transitions into a shopping and commercial area with lots of restaurants and shopping. Our unit is at the end closest to the homes...not the commercial areas. Our building sits adjacent to the hiking/biking trail...and has a little stream that runs right along side it!

Kandilyn and I bought this place so we'll have someplace to stay in Park City after we retire and move away! Until then, we host travelers during the ski season, and rent it monthly during the off season to help pay off the mortgage!

We live 9 miles away, and can get there quickly if needed. But the Prospector has a guest lobby which is staffed 24-hours a day to assist you. Please Note: Last minute bookings (made the day before, or the day of your check-in) may require a later check-in time, up to 7pm. This helps to insure the housekeeping staff has time to properly service the room with enhanced cleaning protocols.
