Located on West 6th Street (yes, it's on 6th Street) just west of Lamar in quiet Clarksville. Once parked, you may not have to drive again. Walk to SXSW, ACL, Waterloo Records, Amy's Ice Cream, Town Lake trails and events at Zilker, Palmer Events, Zach theatre, Long Center. Enjoy iconic restaurants like Clark's Oyster bar & Hut. Shop Whole Foods, Trader Joes; visit art galleries, Anthopologie, Book People, REI & more. The downtown business district and the lively 6th Street scene are close too!

The Loft is a comfortable 1.5 bath with a very comfortable King bed and queen air mattress (if needed for additional guests) that can sleep up to 4 people with the air mattress. The unit is very clean and well lit (LED commercial lamps) with attention to detail, including accent lighting. The back porch is ideal for grilling and two separate second floor decks provide outdoor spaces that you can relax with a bottle of wine and choose to watch the downtown skyline or a sunset on W. 6th street.

Rarely do you find a space that has the open feel as this unit in a downtown condo environment. Austin's wonderful climate and the unique sights and sounds of 6th Street can be enjoyed from the fenced back porch or from two separate second floor decks. One deck faces into 6th Street where you can enjoy watching the street scene including Pub Crawlers. The other deck is more intimate nestled behind the trees with a great view of the downtown skyline.

Pets. We are pet lovers and your pet is welcome here. We have a large and small wire indoor metal kennel that can be left for your use. There is a dog park just a short walk to the north from here on 9th street in the neighborhood. There is a Tomlinson's pet store on 12th street and Lamar with super friendly people who love to pamper your pet. It’s also a nice short walk up along Shoal creek. To the south, it's about a 10 minute walk to the Town Lake lakeshore and trails. There is an 'on leash' dog park on the north lakeshore and a huge 'off leash' park on the south lakeshore. Dogs and owners ;) really dig it.
We charge a $50 pet fee.

As noted in the description above, The Encinal Condo's are located in a secluded spot on West 6th Street, just past Lamar and Baylor Streets in Clarksville, sometimes referred to as 'Old Austin'. Nestled between ZTejas Restaurant and the 100 year old home that is now Thundercloud Sub's corporate office, A walk in any direction will take you to wonderful spots that are part of Austin's uniqueness. Waterloo Records and Whole Foods are less than a 5 minute walk east. Trader Joe's and Town Lake lakeshore trails and kayak rentals is a short walk or bike ride to the south. Art galleries, antique stores, more shopping and restaurants like Clarks and Winflo are a short walk to the West. A walk north will take you into 'Old Austin' as its known with beautiful homes and parks. An original 'moon tower' complete with historical marker is just a short walk up to 12th and Blanco.
