2BD/2BA condominium in center of Northstar Village. Ski-in/ski-out luxury building just steps to the gondola/lifts, restaurants, shops, skating rink, spa amenities including hot tubs, gym, heated outdoor pool. Views of village/mountain from private balcony. Gas fireplace. Gorgeously designed upscale comfort. Parking included. Family friendly. Perfect for amazing mountain sports retreat experience. Absolutely worth the price for the beauty, fun and convenience of staying in the village.

My place has truly everything you want or need for an amazing stay included within just a few steps: ski-in/ski-out (gondolas/lifts), concierge/check-in desk, award winning restaurants, casual restaurants, cafes and pubs, fun stuff for families (ice skating, roller skating, bungee trampoline, s'mores, etc), shops, gondolas and lifts, spa amenities and everything else. Our beautiful village condominium building is just 12 years old, with a spacious well designed layout. (We added the extra bunk bed in 2nd bedroom which reduces the luxury of that bedroom a bit.) Elevator for your convenience. Ski locker for your use during your stay. Conditioned underground parking. Key card access upon check-in, just like a hotel but even better.

My prices are usually lower than other condos in The Village because I manage it myself and want to have it booked as much as possible. My mid-week prices are much lower than weekends, so check my calendar for availability and pricing. Please note there some additional fees for cleaning, resort fee, as well as county hotel/occupancy taxes. My place is just as gorgeous as all the other central village luxury condos (even nicer than some) and very clean, with truly lovely furnishings and décor.

ROOM/UNIT DETAILS:
There are 2 bedrooms both with King beds. The "master" bedroom has a king bed and an additional a roll-way twin bed in the closet if needed. This room has en-suite bathroom. The "guest" bedroom has a king bed and a twin bunk bed. The additional beds are a really nice bonus for multiple families sharing the condo. Please note that the "guest" room is a little tight but there is enough space to walk between the king bed and the bunk beds, plenty of room at the foot of the beds and a good size closet. Staying in the village is so fantastic, this is one of the nicest way for larger/extended families to all stay together.

LOCATION:
My unit is on the 2nd floor of Iron Horse North facing the central village across from Great Bear and Iron Horse South. It is a lovely location with easy access to everything in the village. It is NOT above the skating rink nor the hot tub which is a good thing in terms of excess noise, yet it is very close access to everything in the village. Really the perfect location for every convenience.

SPLITTING WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS: Rentals starting or ending on a Saturday (splitting the weekend), on a major holiday or splitting a major 3 day holiday weekend, will usually incur an additional fee, unless those are the only dates available on my calendar. Normally, the fee is 33% of the nightly weekend or holiday rate.

INSTANT BOOKING/BOOKING REQUESTS:
Please do not "Instant Book" or send a booking request if:
0) Covid-19 restrictions are still in place at any stage of California's re-opening
1) Your stay starts or ends on a Saturday or major holiday
2) Your group includes more than 4 unrelated adults
3) Your booking is more than 3 months in the future
4) Your group includes more than 3 kids (ages 0-17)
5) Your group includes more than 6 guests
6) Your stay leaves a 1 day gap of a rentable night on my calendar

CANCELLATIONS:
My cancellation policy is full refund if I am able to re-rent it (up to amount of new rental) regardless of when you cancel. Otherwise, for all cancellations more than 14 days in advance, full refund less $100 cancellation fee. For cancellations less than 14 days in advance there is a $250 cancellation fee. No refund for cancellations less than 5 days (unless I am able to re-rent it). Normally, I am able to re-rent it, but usually for a lower price the closer it gets to the check-in date, so please if you must cancel, give me as much time as possible.

CHECK-OUT TIME:
Occasionally, due to my cleaners schedule, check-out will be at 10:00 am. Normally check-out is 11:00 am. I will give you as much notice as possible if a 10:00 am check-out is required.

EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT: *** sorry, not available due to Covid-19 cleaning requirements. During normal times: Early check-in and/or late check-out may be available depending on my cleaner's schedule. If available, I generally charge a fee equal to about 4% of your nightly rate per hour (basically 1/24 of your nightly rate.) So if you want 2 hours early check-in and you paid $600 per night, the fee would be $50. Please let me know asap if you are requesting early check-in or late check-out so I can check with the cleaners. I charge this fee because I usually pay the cleaners more for the tight cleaning window and because it is extra work for me to coordinate it with cleaners, front desk, etc.

NIGHTLY MINIMUMS:
Generally, I accept 2 day minimum rentals within the next 3 weeks, 3 day minimum rentals within the next 3-5 weeks, 4 day minimum rentals for 5 weeks to 2 months out and 5 night minimums for 5 months or further out.

SECURITY DEPOSIT (Damage Deposit):
Sorry for the large security deposit but a recent guest held a party and there was damage above the amount my previous lower security deposit. I'm sure 99.5% of you will receive a full refund of the security deposit.

I allow dogs in this condo and we bring our dog when we are using it. We keep it very clean, but if someone in your group has severe pet allergies, this would not be a good rental.

The village is wonderful any time of year. There are always fun things to do, great places to eat, gorgeous views from anywhere you walk. Most times, you won't need to ever need to use your car during your stay. (Which is really great!)

We started renting our house on Airbnb when my husband was transferred back to Boston after just a year in San Francisco. We wanted to be able to come to SF and stay in our own house when we wanted. When we finally left Boston, we bought our home in Russian River (Guerneville) and our condo in Tahoe (Northstar) so now we rent all our properties on Airbnb.
