Makarios on the River is located on the magnificent Sunshine Coast in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Our B&B is situated in the 100 ha Nature’s Landing Eco Estate just outside Kenton on Sea/Bushman’s River Mouth overlooking the tidal Bushman’s River.

Our establishment offers several unique features, including excellent security, an adjoining airstrip for light aircraft, small game and abundant birdlife as well as access to the river from the estate’s slipway and jetty area.
In addition to a plunge pool, we also offer a 12m exercise pool which can be heated on request when booking as well as a number of outdoor areas for relaxation. Beaches, including the Blue Flag Kenton Main Beach, are a few minutes away by car, with some being accessible by river.

In addition to your private suite, as a guest in the Strelitzia Suite you would have access to 2 swimming pools and a number of areas in the garden for reading and relaxation.
On the Nature's Landing Estate, guests can walk to the river and to a nearby dam for birdwatching.

The Strelitzia suite is also available as a "king double" as an alternative to its normal twin bed arrangement. Please request this change when booking.
